1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, submitting missing or found person listings, or using coordinates and search radius features on FindMe, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the platform.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of all submitted information:

• Veracity: You must only report authentic cases. Filing false reports is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account termination and coordination with local authorities.
• Image Permissions: You must have the legal authorization to publish any photograph you upload to the S3 matching cluster.
• Safety and Respect: Sighting comments must remain objective, descriptive, and free of harassing content.

3. Emergency Limitations and Disclaimers

CRITICAL WARNING: FINDME IS NOT A GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT UNIT.

FindMe is a community coordination tool. We do not provide active law enforcement response, search-and-rescue teams, or physical coordinates tracking support. All matches, alerts, and sighting records are auto-processed or volunteer-submitted and must be validated independently.

4. Account Control and Data Deletion

FindMe respects user content ownership. Any reporter is free to request deletion or take down of their reported case/sighting record at any time. Accounts can be terminated upon request. FindMe retains the right to remove any listing containing inappropriate details, duplicate coordinates, or rejected validation states.
